Friday Favorites

Friday is here & I am so ready for the weekend! A little bit of real talk before we begin - some weeks, I do a great job of tracking my favorite things but this week was not one of those weeks! I had so much school work this week, I'm amazed I was able to stay on top of all of it & keep blogging everyday! Here are a few things that keep me sane during the crazy weeks...

1. I think I've mentioned this planner before, but it was my number one this week. I have a Day Designer by Whitney English and I have been loving it since July! Everything I need to know is in my planner - which blog post goes up when, when my assignments are due, things that need my attention at work... This week was packed and planning always makes me feel a little more at ease despite the stress!
2. I know I've mentioned this tea before, but it is too good to leave out of my favorites this week! I love hot tea year round, but having a warm mug of tea in my hands at the end of a long day is the best thing EVER! This peppermint tea by Traditional Medicinals is my favorite.
3. We were talking about Bend it like Beckham in one of my classes yesterday and I was reminded how much I love this movie! I haven't seen it in so long but it is now number one on my list of things to watch!

4. Speaking of movies - I've started to make a mental list of all of the Christmas movies I want to watch and I am so excited! I mean, it's been a long year waiting to watch The Grinch, The Santa Clause movies, Elf... Oh why won't the holiday season come just a little faster?

5. This is a Canadian campaign encouraging women and girls to put out positive messages for one another. The video I've linked is precious and you can make your own positive message for girls HERE.

***I'm Linking up with Katie from Cup of Tea, Della from Della Devoted, Tif from Bright on a Budget for High Five for Friday, Andrea from Momfessionals, Narci from Grace and Love blog and Erika from A Little Bit of Everything for Friday Favorites, April from A Liz Adventures and Christina from Carolina Charm for Five on Friday and Amanda from Meet at the Barre for Friday Favorites!
See you next week!

Have a great weekend!

  1. I am a paper planner too and I understand the love for a planner. My favorite Christmas movie we always watch is the Muppet Christmas Carol. Jess at Just Jess

    1. I've never seen The Muppet Christmas Carol! I'll add it to my list! Thanks for the suggestion, Jess!
