Friday Favorites: Busy Week

Is it Friday already!? This week was such a blur! At the beginning of every week, I put a little Post-It in the corner of my planner where I keep track of all of my favorite things from the week. Well this week, I wrote absolutely nothing down!! Well, I've already made a note to keep track of my favorite next week, but here are my favorite things from this week:
1. I got ESSIE's Lady Like for Christmas and I have been so excited to wear it! I put it on my nails on Wednesday and I have loved every second of it!! It's a neutral with a subtle hint of purple in it and it is so pretty!! I will definitely be wearing this over and over again!

2. The Bean's favorite expression as of late is 'Smooches' so when I spotted a shirt similar to this on Pinterest I thought it would be perfect for her! I made this shirt using my cricut and it turned out great! I picked up a plain grey v-neck from Michael's and used some burgundy iron-on vinyl that I already had to make this shirt and it is simple but perfect!
3. I started watching Gilmore Girls after getting it for Christmas and it took me a minute to get into it but I am loving it now! I have one episode left of season one and I'm hooked, I love so many things about this show - I love the real-life banter between characters, I love Stars Hollow and I adore Luke!!
4. I know I've shared tons of recipes on this blog but this palmier recipe from this week might just be my favorite! It was my first time working with puff pastry and I was so excited with how they turned out! I'm excited to try all sorts of recipes with my new found puff pastry abilities but for now, you can find the palmier recipe HERE.
5. I made Neiman Marcus cookies this week and was reminded just how much I love them! Neiman Marcus Cookies are my very favorite kind of cookie and they come together so easily! You can find the recipe HERE. I blogged this recipe back in August and it was so fun to look back to that post and see how much I've grown as a blogger since then!

***I'm Linking up with Katie from Cup of Tea, Della from Della Devoted, Tif from Bright on a Budget for High Five for Friday, Andrea from Momfessionals, Narci from Grace and Love blog and Erika from A Little Bit of Everything for Friday Favorites, April from A Liz Adventures and Christina from Carolina Charm for Five on Friday and Amanda from Meet at the Barre for Friday Favorites!

I hope you have a great weekend!

  1. The Post-It note is a great idea! I always think of things throughout the week, but then end up forgetting. The palmiers look delicious! Can't wait to try them myself. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

    1. I used to do the same thing, but keeping all of my favorites on a Post-It has been so helpful! Let me know if you try the palmiers! Thank you for reading, Melissa!!
