Haul posts are so outside of my wheelhouse, but I'm going to try today! I will not promise to be any good at this - I am so not a Trader Joe's guru! I'm just going to share what I love to get at Trader Joe's!
I should also preface this post by saying - I know that we bought a ton of cookies and we went a little overboard with pumpkin spice everything! While it is fun to go a little wild sometimes, we do not do this with our weekly groceries! This grocery trip is really just a fun 'in moderation' kind of thing!

Pumpkin Pie Spice
This is the first week of Fall and despite how darn hot it still is outside, I am in full Fall mode! This is going to be the week of the Pumpkin on my blog - today, I'm talking about how I make Pumpkin Pie Spice. Tomorrow, I'm sharing my Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate Recipe and on Thursday, I'm sharing a delicious recipe for Pumpkin Muffins with a cinnamon sugar on top!

Spiced Oatmeal Muffins
I have been making muffins weekly lately & I have loved having them as snacks in the mornings! These were so good and very fall! Although I will probably hold off making these again until October/November they were still so tasty to have! I found the recipe on Five Heart Home & you can find it HERE.
The Bean made these with me and I was so happy to have my stylish little side kick baking with me!
She sported my chef hat with a little bow and a darling apron that we found on sale at Target!

Apple Crumble Cheesecake
The Bean turned 13 on March 2nd - which makes me feel like 90! We celebrated her birthday with our family this past weekend and she had a special request for the cake... an apple crumble cheesecake! I think I've made cheesecake before, probably when I was 13! But I am not well versed in cheesecakes so I took to Pinterest and found the most delicious recipe from cakescottage.com! You can find the original recipe HERE.
One little thing before we get going - this cake was very fall! It smelled like fall while it was baking, and it tasted like fall! I love fall, but I might hold off on making this again until October/November-ish because it is the most perfect fall cake!!

Apple Crisp
My family had this apple crisp for dessert on Saturday night and I had never realized how perfect apple crisp is for fall, but warm apple crisp is where it's at! I have been making this recipe out of the Fannie Farmer cookbook for about 10 years and it is always good and easy as can be! Let's get started so you can get baking! :)

Halloween Sugar Cookies!
I hope you all had a fun Halloween yesterday! I realize that I am sharing a Halloween recipe the day after Halloween, but I figured these sugar cookies are still delicious and you can cut them into any shapes you'd like. And it's still pumpkin season right!? So you can whip up a bunch of pumpkin shaped sugar cookies! I use the sugar cookie recipe from Mrs. Field's Cookie Book - you can find the recipe on page 57!

The original recipe is from Two Sister's Crafting and you can find it HERE.

Pumpkin Dinner Rolls
My skepticism towards pumpkin is over! I am all in on this pumpkin spice craze! This recipe comes from Carlsbad Cravings - this is my favorite place to get recipes from!! I have tried several recipes from Jenn's collection and I love them ALL! I have shared a couple of her recipes, but there are definitely more to come because all of her stuff is delicious!! You can find the original recipe HERE.

Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting
I have always been apprehensive about pumpkin flavored food - I mean why would we add a vegetable to something that is supposed to be sweet!? I have only ever had pumpkin pie once in my life and I have never ever tried a Pumpkin Spice Latte! However, after trying these cupcakes I might just be brave enough to try some other pumpkin treats because these cupcakes were DELICIOUS!! These were served at the birthday party I went to this weekend and they were perfection! I got so many compliments on these tasty cupcakes. I highly, highly recommend whipping these up for fall because you will not be disappointed!
**I got this recipe from Nina Hendrick's blog & you can find the original recipe HERE.

Friday Favorites: Fall Edition
Fall is in full swing and I am just basking in it! Here are my favorite fall things:
1. I love these Essie colors - I usually wear them each a couple of times throughout the fall! Chinchilly was the very first Essie nail polish I ever owned and now I only wear Essie! I love that Essie lasts a full week with minimal chipping!

Cheers to the Fall!
Happy Fall!! I realize that I said in an earlier post that I would wait until it was actually fall to decorate, but I lied! This decor has been up for about a week because I just couldn't resist! The weather cooled down and I was feeling like surrounding myself with fall! Here is a little look into my family's fall decor:
