Friday Faves: It Feels Like Fall!

The weekend is here and so is Fall!! The beginning of this week was hot, hot, hot! We still had the air conditioning on until Wednesday. But finally, as of yesterday it's been jeans & cardigan weather! That drastic drop in temperature is always a little shocking, but I am so ready for some cooler weather! This week was so full of fun and today, I'm recapping it all!

1. I had an early appointment on Tuesday morning and had time to sneak in a Starbucks treat before heading to class. It was so nice to sit downtown, enjoy a strawberry acai refresher and read my book! I haven't had much time to read in the last couple of weeks, but so far I am loving this book! It's set in Italy so it's a nice little escape when I get a minute to read!
2. Also a fun little excursion this week - some downtown shopping! Only made sweeter with all the Fall stuff being out! The Bean loves to browse through makeup but I am all about home decor. We made a deal to meet after looking through our respective sections. I was tired after a long day of classes but all of the pumpkins put a little spring in my step!
3. I swung by the Bean's school to pick her up one day this week and on our walk through downtown, we found this funniest street art! As we walked by it, we both said buh bye! I mean, I don't know the purpose of this spray painting but it sure put a smile on our faces!
4. When I got home from skating on Wednesday night, my mom had steeped a pot of my very favorite Fall tea - Bengal Spice! I'm a mint tea girl all year round except for the Fall. I always drink Bengal Spice tea in the Fall! It is spicy Fall perfection!

5. I think Wednesday night might have been the highlight of my week - there was Bengal spice waiting for me at home, but there was also cookies and a family game night! My mom made delicious chocolate chip cookies! So, we sipped our tea, snacked on cookies and played a game. I posted 2 pictures above because initially we were going to play dominoes until we realized that none of us actually know how to play dominoes - ha! We switched the dominoes for Code Names - our favorite super spy game!
