Jammy Cocoa Christmas Party 2016

My family had our Jammy Cocoa Christmas Party this past Saturday and we had so much fun! Here is how we host this party...
First, we ask everyone to come for 6:30 in their favorite Christmas jammies. The picture above is the Bean and I in our matching pajamas. We ordered these pajama bottoms from The Company Store last August and we paired the bottoms with a Pajama top that we got a couple of years ago. I highly recommend The Company Store for Family Pajamas! They are very reasonably priced, especially if you order them off season. You can find their selection of PJs HERE!

Before everyone arrives, we make tons & tons of doughnuts! We usually make two batches of our favorite doughnut recipe which you can find HERE.

Once our doughnuts our ready, we get hot chocolate warming in the crock pot & set out enough mugs for all of our guests

We set up one side of dining room table into a little hot chocolate bar. We put out mini marshmallows, whipped cream, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, milk chocolate chips, caramel chips, peanut butter chips, crushed peanuts, crushed candy canes, crushed Oreos, Skor bits, mini M&Ms, cinnamon sticks and candy canes.
When our guests arrive, we fill a mug with hot chocolate and they head to the hot chocolate bar to decorate their drink!

On the other side of the table, we have a doughnut bar set up - We put out some Christmas plates, Napkins and 2 baskets of doughnuts for our guests.

We also put out some sugars for our guests to dip their doughnuts in. We put out cinnamon sugar, plain sugar and cocoa sugar.
This is what our living room looked like before the party began. Eventually it was full of some of my family's favorite people talking about Christmas traditions and playing some fun Christmas games!
And that's it! This is the Bean and little Finn asleep on the couch after the party - they were wiped OUT!

5 days until Christmas! I'm spending the day wrapping & baking! See you tomorrow with a recipe for biscotti!
