1. First of all - my blog is two!! What!? How did that happen? I celebrated by chalking in my driveway! Ha! I'm not totally kidding! I chalked a big number two in the driveway and snapped some fun pictures! I also threw up a peace sign, which I don't think I've ever done before! But really, it was supposed to be a number two, and when I looked back at the pictures I realized it looked like a peace sign and I totally cringed! I posted all about two years of blogging yesterday, you can read it HERE.
2. Did you catch this fun recipe!? I experimented with making Jordan Marsh's traditional blueberry muffins gluten free, vegan and refined sugar free and guess what they worked out so well! We had quite a distance to drive last weekend and they made the best snack to have on the road!
3. Another great road trip treat - my favorite strawberry acai refresher with coconut milk! I know I've bragged on the pink drink before but it so lives up to the hype! I love it, but the Bean prefers the violet drink! She orders a berry hibiscus refresher with coconut milk.
4. Let me preface this by saying that I love my job - I love the flexibility, I love my boss, I love the location (I really do love it all!) but over the weekend they hosted a big lobster festival and the whole place still reeks of lobster! I don't eat any seafood or fish so I am not taking the smell very well! My boss was laughing so hard at me yesterday when I was walking around looking for a lobster carcass. I could have sworn there were lobsters hidden in the corners! When I got in the car after work, the smell was clinging to my clothes - ugh! I raced home to hop in the shower and change asap!
