Friday Favorites: Hello May!

Hello Friday :) This week was full of good - I got home from a fun weekend in Toronto, I finally got to see some of my friends after finishing up school and I got to go to skating show! As usual, I'm linking up with a few other bloggers to share the very best parts of this week.
Last weekend, I went to visit my cousins in Toronto and there were so many good parts of my trip, but one of the highlights was the aquarium! There is so much to see in this aquarium. We saw jellyfish, seahorses and sharks! Those are sharks in the picture above! We got to walk right under the sharks and it was pretty darn cool! I will share more pictures from the aquarium next week, but I just couldn't wait to share this one.
Another cool part of being in Toronto? The celebrity houses I got to see! This is the house that was used in Mean Girls. I watched Mean Girls as soon as I got home on Monday and I loved it more than ever! It was so cool to see that house!

I got to see Stars on Ice on Wednesday night and it was so much fun! I adore watching figure skating and this show did not disappoint. We got to see Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron (who came second to Tessa and Scott and the PyeongChang Olympics) and they were incredible! They are so perfectly in sync - it's mesmerizing to watch them skate. And, they skated to my new favorite singer, Dermot Kennedy, so major bonus points for them!
Oh and who did I go to Stars on Ice with, you ask? This sweet friend!! I got these tickets as a gift from my boss and as soon as I got them I knew I had to take my right hand lady! Katya has coached with me for a few years and I love being on the ice with her. This year at our year end show, there was a little mix up with music and I thought I was going to lose my mind (because show day is no time to be messing with music). I went right to grab Katya and told her that I knew I could handle this, I just needed her to come with me - ha! I am so lucky to have her by my side at work and we had the best time at Stars on Ice!
Yesterday, I got to see another one of my friends and we made these cookies (recipe HERE) together. I hadn't had these Turtle Cookies in so long and I forgot how darn good they are! My friend, Alex and I made these cookies and watched the Billboard Music Awards together. If you haven't watched the Billboard Music Awards yet, I highly recommend you whip up a batch of these and enjoy them while watching the show!
