Friday Faves: The Last of May

Every year as summer rolls around, there is always so much fun to look forward to - the Bean's dance show is this weekend and I am so excited to see her do her thing. I keep telling her that I'm excited to see her dance. In fact, I think I've been telling her too often because she told me to calm down yesterday - ha! I'll try to keep my excitement in check over here as I share my favorites from this week ;)

Friday Favorites: Cruising Through May

I can hardly believe how fast May is flying by! Summer really does feel right around the corner and there are some exciting things on the horizon - the Bean has her dance show soon, I have a bridal shower to attend and I'm graduating in a couple of weeks! As I am writing this post it is pouring outside. Like a serious downfall and I am loving every minute of it. There is a special place in my heart for Spring rainfall. Let's take a look back on the best parts of this week, shall we? 

Friday Favorites: Bloggaversary Edition

Today, my blog is three! What, what? I am so proud of my little online space and I am so appreciative that so many of you stop by everyday! I have always loved recipe sharing and I am so happy to share some of my faves on a larger scale. I know some of my readers are real life friends, but many are people who I've never met - and that part blows my mind! I so appreciate every single one of you and the time you take to read my blog! Friday Favorites: Hello May!

Hello Friday :) This week was full of good - I got home from a fun weekend in Toronto, I finally got to see some of my friends after finishing up school and I got to go to skating show! As usual, I'm linking up with a few other bloggers to share the very best parts of this week.

Friday Faves: Happy Spring :)

This week brought some glorious Spring weather, and my favorite - Spring rain storms! I am loving all things Spring this year, which makes me feel old because I barely used to notice Spring! I love noticing all of the little buds sprouting in our garden and watching the world turn a little more green. Today, I'm headed off on a fun trip! I will be sure to take lots of pictures and share the very best parts next week (along with some fun recipes!). Let's look back at the best parts of this week, shall we?

Friday Favorites: The Longest List of Faves

Hey hey friends! I have not been great at keeping on top of blogging during this last student teaching internship. But, guess what? I'm done! Like really, really done - my transcript says 'Bachelor degree complete.' I am anticipating having much more time to bake & blog in the near future and I can't wait to get back to sharing little bits of my life! Yesterday was tough. Saying goodbye to such a great group of kids was sad. I got so many sweet goodbyes and I am already looking forward to going back to visit and sub (because I'm a licensed teacher now!!).

I was scrolling through my camera roll before starting this post and holy moly, I have quite a few favorites to share! I didn't link up last Friday so I'm sharing the best parts of the last 2 weeks today!

How is this already the last Friday of March? March flew right by and I am SO ready for a little Spring! Bring on the April showers and hopefully some warmer weather! I missed last week's Friday Favorite link up so I am back this week with a round up of the last two weeks. I am working on getting a chocolate chip cookie recipe up next week - fingers crossed! Teaching kicks my booty but I have been dying to get back in the kitchen! Ok, onto the faves!

These past few weeks have flown right by because my days have been so full. After this weekend my days will be a little lighter. Part of what makes my weeks oh so full is coaching skating, but that wraps up this weekend. My skating kids have their final show this weekend and they are ready to crush it! Friday Favorites: Cruising Through February

This week was a pretty fun weather week in Montreal! We got 40ish cm of snow on Wednesday which meant that my last official day of classes was a snow day! How fun is that? I loved having a snow day this week and I am so glad to be done with the last classes of my Bachelor's degree! Onto my last teaching internship - more on that later on. This Friday could not come around soon enough! We have had some strange weather in Montreal this week - so much freezing rain! On Wednesday, I got to my car after skating and it was covered in ice! Happy February, friends! I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today! I'm into my last two weeks of classes before student teaching and I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! It feels like I'm drowning in work this week, but the end is in sight and I am really looking forward to starting student teaching! January always feels so long. If you told me January really had 60 days, I would believe you. We had some exciting weather this week in Montreal - there was a crazy snow storm on Sunday & Monday then more snow and freezing rain on Wednesday and yesterday. Traveling around was an adventure and it sure made for some exciting stories! Here are some of the highlights from this week:

Friday Favorites: It's Really Winter!

Happy Friday! Winter got off to a slow start in Montreal this year. For weeks I've been wondering when it will actually get cold and really snow. Montreal has been known to have some pretty treacherous winter conditions but so far, we haven't had much of anything. The temperature hasn't dropped too low and there hasn't even been hope for a snow day. That all changed this week - the temperature dropped (a little too low for my liking - it's freezing!!) and we have lots of snow in the forecast this weekend! Friday Favorites: I'm on Christmas Break!

It's official - I'm on Christmas break! I had my last exam last night! The last couple of weeks my to do list has been full of school related stuff and I can finally move onto a more fun & festive to do list! I still have quite a few things to get done but it's all Christmas related. If you need me between now and Christmas, You can likely find me crafting/wrapping/labelling with a Hallmark Christmas movie on and I tea close by! Let's get into my favorite things from this week!

Christmas is 18 days away and I can hardly stand it! This time of year is my favorite of all - the anticipation paired with just the right amount of twinkle lights makes me happy girl! I'm in the thick of finishing up some end of semester school things, but I'm so looking forward to the end of exams and really getting into the holiday season.
